They are fully resistant to corrosion and chemical factors, thanks to which they can be used in the most hazardous environments, such as: shipbuilding industry, mining industry, chemical industry, refineries, sewage treatment plants, drilling platforms, construction, agriculture, food processing, water treatment plants, power industry, aviation industry, space industry etc. Depending on the needs, we use different types of resins and the whole range of different fibres, such as Kevlar, basalt or carbon.<\/p>\n<p>LS Tech-Homes S.A. has been co-operating with a few research centres as well as manufacturers who use sections manufactured by means of pultrusion in their products. LS Tech Homes S.A., together with Cz\u0119stochowa Technical University, have developed an interesting research programme, related to the implementation of the technology and the product, and also it has subjected its products to testing at the Institute of Construction Technology. Composite sections manufactured using the pultrusion method are commonly used worldwide, since they behave better than steel. There is a great chance for market development for this type of goods.<\/p>\n<p>The pultrusion process is used for automatic production of structural elements, such as bars, pipes and sections with a stable cross-section. The length of elements obtained with that method is only limited by the size of the production hall. The resin is reinforced by means of glass fibres, consisting of a bundle of many parallel fibres wound on a spool (the so-called continuous roving). Roving bands are unwound from the spools and they are passed through a bath filled with thermosetting resin, which impregnates the fibres. Roving ribbons saturated with resin are pultruded through the system, which gives the initial shape to the manufactured element. At the same time, they are four times lighter than steel. Since they are the material which is resistant to corrosion and chemical factors, they are ideal for harsh environmental conditions. They do not require any maintenance or protection treatment.<br \/>\nThanks to their unique structure they retain shape memory, thanks to which they may be subject to momentary deformation under the impact of the acting force, after which they return to their initial shape. The products may be given any colour at the production stage. They do not emit any volatile particles during use. The use of high quality pigments and modifiers ensures colour durability and their resistance to UV radiation. The profiles are hardened thermally and their shape depends on the used matrix.<br \/>\nThe pultrusion products manufactured by LS TECH HOMES have been assigned to E23 class, described in the standard PN-EN 13706-3 \u201cReinforced plastic composites\u201d \u2013 specification of sections created by means of the pultrusion method.<\/p>\n<p>The product ensures high permeability of EMI\/RFI radio waves and transmission of high frequencies. It is often used for the construction of covers of radars and aerials. There exists the possibility of special finish and of using any colour upon the customer\u2019s request. The sections can be polished without the change of colour and internal structure.
