about

the company

Module Technologies S.A. is an expansion of current activity conducted by LS Tech-Homes S.A., focused in large-area modular construction with the use of cross laminated timber – CLT BBS. The main direction of the strategic change became possible thanks to a close cooperation partnership with Module Investment which is a full-service provider of panel joining technology, construction projects and materials in the form of CLT BBS panels. Based on a technology licensed by Module Investment, the Module Technologies company delivers investments as a general contractor or subcontractor.

The launch of the new strategy is connected with concentration of activities focused on delivery of large-area and multi-storey investments for a demanding European market. Module Technologies sees a competitive advantage of its investments in the following benefits: energy savings, high acoustic ratios, durability compared to the one of concrete structures as well as ecological dimension thanks to the panel structure made entirely of carefully selected wood.

Module Technologies is also a continuation of current activity of LS Tech-Homes in the scope of construction with the use of SIP and structures in the pultrusion technology. The new strategic direction of the Company’s development sees the role of SIP in the delivery of minor investments.
General construction in the CLT BBS technology will mainly include:

  • multi-storey housing
  • construction of hotels and leisure facilities
  • industrial construction (production halls, warehouses)

The new stage of the Company’s activity was inaugurated on 5 October 2018 with a signature of an Agreement with RIM Investment Sp. z o.o. S.K.A. for designing and general construction of the “DuoVita Smart Apartments” investment in Wisła. Elements of the investment will be apartment buildings with a commercial infrastructure, the presumed value of its construction by Module Technologies S.A. will amount to approx. PLN 50 million net.

An additional financial base for the development of the Company for the coming years will be letters of intent (LOI) signed by LS Tech-Homes S.A. on 30 July 2018 and 27 September 2018 with German investors for general construction of two projects worth, respectively: EUR 42.4 million and EUR 45.5 million. Both investments will be completed in modular technology with the use of CLT BBS.

History

The Company started to operate in 2009. The objective of the company was the introduction of composite technologies into construction on the basis of American patents and experience. 2 production halls were modernised in Czechowice-Dziedzice, where the lines for the production of composite panels from magnesium boards and Styrofoam, as well as the line for the production of composite sections on the basis of polyester resins and glass fibre were installed.

Simultaneously, the company started intensive research and development works together with the Department of Introduction to Construction and Construction Materials of Gdańsk University of Technology. The tests performed on real life and numerical models, as well as open procedures of obtaining technical approvals and certificates enabled the manufacture of the first products as well as prototypic and model solutions. At present, the company also implements projects in Europe, Africa and the USA.

The interest in composites and the knowledge of this technology keeps increasing, also thanks to the promotion of Module Technologies SA , which presents its products and solutions at the seminars, specialist fairs and meetings with designers and developers. At present, the company has 4 production sites in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Studzienice near Pszczyna, and Koniecwałd (in the commune of Sztum) in Pomorze Special Economic Zone.

In 2012, the company was listed on the Warsaw New Connect stock exchange, and in 2015 it obtained a strategic investor- ARP Venture. Currently, share capital amounts to over PLN 16.6 million. Development works are still conducted; new and constantly improved solutions are also intensively implemented into the projects realised on a number of continents.
The team of persons that stand behind the creation of Module Technologies SA is a firm foundation supported by experience and many years of practice in the sector, therefore the offered products are the effect of strict co-operation between science and business. The success of the Company were also the grants obtained from European Union funds under the Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007-2013.

In January 2017 the company implemented Quality Managment System ISO 9001:2015.
